Don't think that just because you haven't lived the coming-out process that you aren't qualified to write about it. I'm always amazed at how accurate some straight writers can be when empathizing with gay teen characters. I have read 2 of your books and in my opinion "Icarus in Flight" is a wonderful achievment that hasn't received the recognition it deserves. Lovely interview, Hayden.
